The San Diego Chargers will celebrate 50 years of football when they host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Nov. 29 at Qualcomm Stadium. Kickoff is 1:05 p.m. PST.
One of the highlights of the afternoon promises to be the introduction of the 50 Greatest Chargers of All-Time during pregame festivities.
The Chiefs come into Sunday’s game as winners of two-straight, including a 27-24 overtime win against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chargers are also on a roll, with five-straight wins coming into this Sunday’s game, including a convincing 32-3 win over the Denver Broncos last Sunday at Inveso Field.
Chargers receive ANOTHER 24-hour extension The Thanksgiving holiday week along with the Chargers’ strong sales efforts have prompted the National Football League to grant the Chargers an additional 24-hour extension in an effort to lift the local television blackout of this Sunday’s Chargers-Chiefs game. The team now has until 1:05 pm PT on Saturday to sell the remaining 1,350 tickets.
