Help Us Fight Cancer Together! My name is Arnie Levine, and I’m 72 years old. For most of my life, I kept my battle with cancer hidden. I was a “Closet Cancer Case.”
At my mother’s insistence, I sought a second opinion, which led to a biopsy on my birthday, 12/28/1999—a day that nearly became my last. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, both high and low grade. Treatment began immediately, and I survived. But my journey didn’t end there. I relapsed in 2004, 2010, and again in 2018. Each time, I fought back, enduring chemo and radiation therapies. Today, I’m in remission again.I now dedicate my time to raising awareness and supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Through public speaking, blogging, and volunteering, I share my story to inspire others to fight and never give up. My cancer survivor blog on County Properties’ website is regularly updated with support resources, activities, and the latest information for those affected by cancer.
Today, my fight extends beyond my own story. A dear friend of mine—someone I love as though she were my own daughter—is battling stage 4 cancer, including multiple myeloma, anemia, and an infection in her bone marrow.
Ms. Levine my daughter who adopted me.
For privacy, I’ll refer to her as Ms. Levine.
Her insurance was dropped, and while it is set to resume in February, the gap has left her with mounting medical bills. I’ve maxed out my credit cards trying to help her, but the need is far greater than I can meet alone. She deserves to focus on healing—not on financial worries.
Currently she is diagnosed stage 4 myeloma, blood counts are too low for the neck surgery which will be removing a tumor under her clavicle which they will have to break those to remove the existing tumor then go back to chemo treatment once her blood counts are up.
I have lent $30,000 to help her through this journey. She still needs donations beyond that to repay the loan and to be able to continue to receive treatments and not work in order to get healthy.
This is where I’m asking for your generosity. Any donation, big or small, will help provide her with the resources to continue her treatment and regain her health. With your support, we can give her the peace of mind to focus on recovery and reclaim her life.
How to Help If you feel moved to join this fight, please consider donating. Your contributions will directly support Ms. Levine’s medical care and ongoing treatment. Together, we can be the strength she needs to overcome this battle.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Cancer affects us all, but together, we can make a difference.
Please share this post let’s go viral we’re running out of time we’re dealing with the end of stage 4. Next treatment is a feeding tube because she cannot get enough food in her and is dealing with low blood counts.
With gratitude, Arnie Levine
