This is a huge win!
Late last night, the U.S. House of Representatives passed one of our top priority bills, cutting the red tape for children needing lifesaving cancer treatment in another state. This bill has been one of our top priorities.
Thank you to our advocates who have been taking action on this issue. Your tireless work played a major role in winning this important vote.
Next step: Pass the bill in the U.S. Senate so President Biden can sign it into law.
In talking with our team, we expect the Senate to debate the bill after the election, likely in late November or December. So, there is no immediate action necessary; only taking a minute to celebrate this victory.
Join our celebration on social media by sharing our Facebook or Twitter/X posts.
Our work isn’t done yet, but today’s vote is an enormous step forward.
Stay tuned for more on this bill after the election.
